Washington Elementary School is located in Sherman, Texas. It takes care of approximately 400 students beginning with Kindergarten and traverses through the Fourth Grade. Hispanics make up most of the general population.

I help the teachers in whatever endeavor they are doing in their classrooms. I cut out laminated paperwork with names, numbers, and pictures on cardstock. I sharpen pencils, and write on 'give away' cards for things such as citizenship or other reasons and the children can redeem the cards at Applebee's and other merchants.

I help out teachers who ask me to help them. I usually work about 4 to 5 hours every Tuesday and Thursday. I helped to set it up and helped in making it run smoothly. I took care of most of the paperwork associated with keeping the database of volunteers together. Also, in the second week of every

month, I called all of the client families to invite them to our Distribution Day which was always

on the third Saturday of each month. Any family that needed transportation to and from the church, I provided that. During August of 2011, I decided to go a new direction in my volunteering.

Looking For A Job

Scott Bumgarner ©2011

I am no longer a CieAura Independent Retailer. I couldn't get people to believe in the product enough to want to buy it. It is the best product that I have ever used to make my old "bone rubbing bone" knees to quit hurting. I had been off of my walking cane almost a year when the remainder of my CieAura Holographic Chips ran out.

I believe these chips are a great invention, but no one else around here seems to believe that. My sponsor quit on me after three months even though I had signed up five people. I believed in him; but, after he quit paying for my autoship, I gave up on him. He wasn't interested in pushing the program, he just likes to spend money to join programs that never pay off. Never again will I get involved in anything that he has going. He burst my bubble pretty quickly. Just shows you can't trust anyone, not even your Christian brother.

Now I am doing nothing that pays. I am involved with the food pantry at our church where I keep all of the administrative programs updated monthly.

I used to think that companies would hire older folks but I don't much believe that anymore, as I have filled out many, many, many job apps and sent in many, many, many resumes, to no avail. Yes I am sixty-six years of age, so what, I can type, and I know the use of a computer pretty well. No one wants to give me a chance. I come pretty cheap. I have my own insurance.

I don't get around physically very well, but I can sit at a desk all day and put in a good days work for a good days pay.

Scott Bumgarner
sooner1944@verizon.net

Doctors Endorse "The Amazing" CieAura Chips!

ESB TEXOMA CieAura http://esbtexoma.cieaura.com

Finally! My duties consisted of running up and down the highway hauling radios and various items used in building a reactor for the new plant in Sherman, Texas. I solicited bids from machine shops all over North Texas to build equipment for the Poly Silicon Plant.

In September of 1980, I transferred to the Poly Silicon Plant in Sherman and into the Repair and Maintenance Shop handling paperwork for the Cost Center Manager over this particular area.

In October of 1980, I was asked to lend my support to the cost accounting area of the Poly Silicon Plant. I worked in this area for two years handling stock room audits, and as a buyer for equipment that was stocked in the stock room. I also handled the reconciliation of stock room reports monthly, quarterly, and yearly.

I also became involved in doing the monthly expense forecast for the production cost center in this area and this monthly expense exceeded over one million dollars a month.

I backed up the Poly Silicon Plant Safety Manager by leading safety audits of the plant, and leading and conducting monthly safety meetings.

I was the Editor, Writer, and Photographer for a newsletter called the Poly Gram which featured various operators and support personnel who worked in the Poly Silicon Plant. This was a monthly in this newsletter.

In the middle of October, 1982, I was transferred out into the field as a Poly Silicon Plant Operator due to losses of personnel through lay offs.

Rapid Reaction Board Shop 1971 to 1978

Edward S Bumgarner ©2009

After five years in the Float Zone shop, I was ready for a new job. I transferred into the Rapid Reaction Board Shop where we built government and outside vendor applications known as circuit boards.

In order to work on US Government items, one had to have a Secret Clearance which I obtained. I had to account from the age at the time of 28 years of age back to my 18th birthday. I had to write down every week, and every place I had lived permanently, or while on other job assignments with other employments.

My first job assignment in the RRBS was to become a circuit board plater. Copper was plated inside of holes that had been drilled into the raw board in the Drilling Area.

The plating shop was a very hot area to work in, plus one had to acclimate themselves to all of the chemical baths. One had to wear a plastic apron, safety glasses, sometimes steel toed boots, and rubber gloves.

I learned to be a copper plating operator utilizing (AC) alternating current to plate our board inside of a copper bath solution.

After just a few months, I was promoted to Group Leader. I led a group of about eight other operators. My area of responsibility included: cleaning the raw board in a solvent, coating the board with a laminar, and shooting a pattern onto the board using a negative. (The negatives were known as reverse negatives but looked like negatives of pictures that you get when you get photos developed.)

The board was then run through a machine that contained a solvent which developed the pattern onto the board. Finally the board was beginning to look like a circuit board.

The board was sent to touch up where touch up operators would use black ink and apply this ink or paint to holes that developed into the laminar for what ever reason.
This touch up paint kept plating from plating the board where it wasn't supposed to be.

The board was then sent back to the plating shop to have 70 30 tin lead deposited onto the exposed areas of the circuit board. After this plating, the board was put through a solvent that would remove the resist or laminar from the board. Underneath this laminar was copper.

The next step the board was sent to the Etching room. The board was then laid onto a conveyor belt that carried the board through an etching machine that removed the remaining copper from the board.

When the etching and cleaning was completed, the board contained tin leaded circuits on them. Sometimes they had to be sent to the screen printing area where different type stencils were painted onto the board using a screening process. This identified each hole in the board and put the name on it.

The Rapid Reaction Board Shop operated on a first in, first out type schedule. Sometimes, other jobs would take precedence over other jobs. A lot of US Government mil type work was done for various military type applications. My time in the board shop was during the Vietnam Era, and so we supported it.

I carried a Secret Clearance for seven years.

Float Zone Operator 1966-1971

Edward S Bumgarner ©2009

I came from a small southern Oklahoma city known as Davis, Oklahoma in September of 1966 to hire on at Texas Instruments, Inc. in the large city of Dallas, Texas.

Overwhelming to say the least, however I had several friends, also from Davis, who I lived with for a while, and they taught me Dallas, Texas.

I hired on in the Materials Building in Richardson, Texas on 12th day of September, 1966. I admit I was somewhat awed by what I saw when I was led into the area of my assignment. I was beginning to wonder what I had gotten myself into.

I saw machines with quartz tubes mounted in them with small silicon bars situated inside of the quartz tubes with the rod being zoned at 2000°. An operator wore dark green lensed glasses to be able to get close and read the zone of the bar being zoned.

These bars had slits cut at a 45° angle down one side, and each slit was loaded with a dopant in order to bring the silicon into a certain resistivity, such as 45 to 55 ohms.

This was early day or the forerunner of today's chips made with silicon. Silicon is one of the hardest substances created by man. If dropped onto a hard surface, it will shatter, but it takes a diamond bladed saw to cut through it.

The float zone working area had lots of different kinds of gases in the radius of the shop. We used gases such as: nitrogen, argon, phosphene, and chemicals such as sulfuric acid and HCl.

This was my first job with Texas Instruments.

Edward S Bumgarner Cover Letter

Edward S Bumgarner

I wish to engage in employment opportunities within your organization.
